We’re offering up a great deal to get to Nelson Lakes next month for a Weekend away, and we also want to remind people that we are super committed to the sustainability of our business going forward which is why we go up and beyond the the carbon off set we have pursued with Ekos by making a % of our fuel biodiesel. Happy to annouce that as from December we will be upping the 7% of biofuel we have been using over the winter to 20% for the summer. So in fact you can have your cake and eat it!!!
The business story
Rameka a go go!!
We’ve sold all the seats for this Sundays Rameka trip. Super stoked to have the Land Cruiser party lounge full!!! There’s always more coming with the monthly specials, and as they are at a per seat price, its a super good way to get yourself a great price on an adventure and meet some other adventurous people on your travels. Keep your eyes peeled for next months special,….hmmm… what’ll it be… Hiking? Biking? Kayaking?
Cable Bay Kayak shuttles are on!!!
This Sat the chance of a good afternoon sea breeze is looking great. So.. we’ll be picking up grinning paddlers from Tahuna Beach and Glenduan so they can enjoy the pristine waters of Tasman bay. All paddlers welcome.
Big thanks to Chris at Kayak HQ for collaborating and modifying and providing his trailer so we can offer this great service to the local water sports community.

24th October ….Ra-Ra-Rameka + Kaiteriteri laps $47
I’ve decided to have quite a casual Labour Weekend, so Sunday the 24th we’re heading up to the Rameka. We’ve got a super good format for this… Rameka track… meet at Takaka for lunch then back over the hill to while away the afternoon with drop off at Sandy Bay Riwaka Saddle which give access to Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park. How good is that..? Check out the special deals on the website for more info
Uber Comfort
The recent trip to Nelson Lakes gave a good opportunity to try out the new seating upgrade in the back of the Landcruiser.
Carrying on with the Tartan theme, we employed a great local seamstress to make some goretex covered memory foam seat cushioning. The great thing is with them being goretex they make an awesome outdoor picnic lounger too!!!
It’s actually so comfortable that I’ve got hold of another roll of memory foam to do a similar upgrade on the backs of the seats. Looking forward to testing out the end results.
Cable Bay Kayak Shuttle
Been quitely having a yarn to Chris West down at Kayak HQ for the last couple of months about getting a Kayak Shuttle Service going to help locals to utilise the prevailing winds in Nelson and to encouage them to explore our amazing coastlines.
We’ve come up with a pretty good flexible format to get people on the water for a super reasonable price. Anyway we’ll be keeping a pretty good eye on the upcoming weather forecasts and tides an announcing some dates. Have a look here to see how it all works.
Also have a look at signing up to our Newsletter, we’ve not only got good deals for your adventures , but we’re working up some amazing volunteer opportunities in the Nelson Region too.
