Scottish Express is proud to be certified a sustainable Carbon Friendly Business with Ekos. This means that we used Ekos’ *lite calculator to estimate and offset our business’s operational carbon emissions.
The activities we measured include Vehicle use, business waste, electricity and many other aspects of our business. We’ve added an extra 1 tonne of carbon offset just to make sure we’re covering base.
Carbon offset is at the very end of the chain of sustainability for us. We aim to run our business operations to maximise our sustainability by efficiently using our resources and encouraging and rewarding others to share transport. For what we can’t control, we choose to offset. Feel at ease planning your next adventure with us,let us take care of the transport logistics. We go some great places and are keen to help you finding some hidden gems in a sustainable manner.
At Scottish Express we believe that values around the natural enviroment grow when engaging in the natural enviroment.
We figure that if we can keep our prices low, and our level of service high. Then it goes a long way to filling up the Scottish express and taking a couple of vehicles off the road. That I think, is a win for everyone.
We not only want you to get out and about and enjoy this place where we live …. The Earth, we also want to make sure the next generation can too.
Now get out there and appreciate what we have!!
So who are Ekos?
Ekos develops and supports carbon projects that grow and protect forests in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. They connect carbon offset buyers with these projects by measuring business and individual carbon footprints, supplying certified forest carbon offsets. They also provide carbon certifications(Zero Carbon, Climate Positive as well as Carbon Footprint and Carbon Friendly Certifications). Ekos forest carbon projects deliver climate resilience, waterways protection, erosion control, biodiversity protection and community economic development.
They are an amazing group of friendly people striving to make a difference. They operate out of Golden Bay, New Zealand. How cool is that!!
