Ready for a big day out riding some of the best trails Nelson has to offer? Our “Rameka Track plus” Shuttle package delivers the perfect mix of scenery, history, and flow.
We start the day with a comfortable shuttle up to the top of the Rameka Track, setting you up for a 700‑metre descent into the township of Tākaka. Ride through pristine forest and historic walking tracks, then, halfway down, choose your preferred line on purpose‑built singletrack of varying grades. After the descent, it’s a relaxed ride on quiet local roads into Tākaka, where you can refuel at the town’s amazing cafés.
From there we head up Tākaka Hill for a couple of shuttle laps on the Pikikirunga Track, a classic Grade 3 flow trail that’s equal parts fun and fast. The day doesn’t stop there — next it’s onto Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park, where we shuttle you to the back of the park for one‑or‑maybe‑two laps. Your final descent rolls you down to the beachfront cafés and golden sands of world‑famous Kaiteriteri Beach, perfect for a cool drink and a well‑earned break before we head back to Nelson.
