How does that work?

Zone 1 is anywhere between Nelson and Wakefield.

Zone 2 is anywhere Between Wakefield and Tapawera

So… if you are just going to Wakefield , or just Wakefield to Tapawera…. buy a single ticket

If you are travelling all the way to Tapawera or across zones buy two tickets
