Description
We’re running four day day bikepacking tranport option to some of the best gravel roads in the South Island. The January date coincides with the limited opening of the Severn to Sedgemere track, and also takes advantage of those long summer days to plan some longer routes.
The Rainbow road, winds its way from Nelson Lakes National park through a spectacular high country working farm into the heart of the Molesworth station, the Molesworth road and the Severn Sedmere track give you options to return via more spectacular mountain scenery
We leave Nelson on Friday morning to get you to the start of the Rainbow road, and depart Awatere valley/Blenheim on the Sunday afternoon to return to Nelson. There’s options for custom pick ups and drop offs to lengthen or shorten your bikepacking route to your desire- just get in contact
15th January: Depart Nelson 6.30am ( Kinzett Terrace Carpark)
18th January: Depart Blairich Recreation area 3.30pm, Blenheim pick ups en route( arrive Nelson approx 6pm)
