This phrase isn’t just a slogan for us — it’s a way of life, both in business and beyond. Before we bring anything new into our adventure gear or shop, we pause to think about what happens to it when it’s time for it to retire. It’s part of being responsible to the beautiful places we explore.

One of the things I love about adventuring (whether it’s tramping [hiking], kayaking, or simply hitting the trails) is that you don’t need the latest gadget or fancy gear to get the most out of it. Often, the simplest gear gets you just as far — maybe even further.

With that in mind, our shop offers a small but carefully chosen selection of items — new, used, and ex-hire — that help reduce waste and give great gear a second life. It’s a modest start, but as we grow, so will our range of products designed to keep the adventure sustainable and accessible.
