The Rameka track plus Mountain bike Day

Your adventure begins with a relaxed shuttle up the Rameka Track to 800 metres, setting you up for an incredible 700-metre descent. Ride through a mix of historic backcountry trails and purpose-built singletrack, soaking in the unique character of the region. The trail rolls all the way down toward Tākaka, followed by an easy 20-minute cruise on your bike into town where you can refuel at one of the excellent local cafés.
Next, we shuttle back up Tākaka Hill for not one, but two laps of the ever-popular Pikikirunga Track — a fun, flowing Grade 3 ride that’s a favourite for good reason.
But the day doesn’t end there. We finish strong at Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park, enjoying more shuttle-assisted laps down to the golden beaches and vibrant seaside cafés.
After a full day of riding, exploring, and recharging, we head back to Nelson with tired legs and big smiles.
